About us
Tablehurst Orchard was established by Stein Leenders and Noor Bunnik in January 2001. Stein and Noor moved to England from Holland to start an organic orchard after both studying at Warmonderhof College, the school for biodynamic agriculture in Holland.
Stein oversees the orchards itself dealing with the day to day maintenance and care of the crop and organising planting and harvesting.
Noor is in charge of administration and finance acting as bookkeeper and general administrator as well as working in the orchards when the need arises.
There also are Joris and Birk, they are Stein and Noors sons who like to help with harvesting, picking strawberries, labelling juice, sorting apples and a lot of more things. But above all they play around at the farm and the orchards.
Besides the familiy there’s Teun, he’s Stein’s younger brother. He studies at Emerson College, which is a local school for biodynamic agriculture, and works at the farm and orchards as well.
Once in a while Johannes and Anne, who are Stein’s younger brother and sister, are coming to visit Tablehurst Orchard. They’re both never to shy to help around if help is needed.
The students of Emerson College are always there to help Stein with everything that needs to be done.
